Before dedicating herself to writing full time, Ashley worked in publishing and marketing for over 16 years, managing the production of several magazine titles in California, Alaska, and Mexico including Destination Wine Country, Destination Alaska, Ports of Call—Alaska, Destino Los Cabos, Elite Wedding Collection, the Greenopia guidebook series, and several other lifestyle magazines and travel guides. In addition to streamlining production timelines and processes, Ashley saved several publishers hundreds of thousands of dollars on printing and production costs through her efficient workflow, tenacious research and creative problem solving.

Having expanded her expertise to encompass online marketing, she now offers businesses well-rounded solutions to their copywriting and marketing needs. For Shopatron and Experts Exchange in the technology industry and Original Sprout in the health and beauty industry, she has written countless blog posts, email campaigns, press releases, industry articles, web pages, and whitepapers. She has also written several feature articles for magazines in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Baja. Ashley holds a BA in Literature from USCB’s College of Creative Studies and a Masters Certificate in Advanced Online Marketing from the University of San Francisco.
